Limber Chest for 1” Gatling Gun from the late Civil War to early Indian War period. The chest is in very good to near fine condition, originally used to store 1” parrot ammunition with arsenal markings including “Gatling Gun”. These chests were attached to the artillery Limber and served a duel purpose as a seat for artillerymen. The chest weighs approx. 185lbs, measuring 44-1/2” by 22-1/2” by 17” high. One of the only known examples and a great accessory to the 1” Gatling Gun or important to any field gun collector. Est: $3,000 - $6,000
