Lima, Peru, pillar 8 reales, Ferdinand VI, 1756 JM, dots over both mintmarks, ex-ANA "Treasures of the Deep." KM-55.1; Cal-unl. 23.84 grams. AU details despite light surface corrosion, lightly toned and with patches of dark "horn silver." Pedigreed to the Thomas Gray collection and formerly displayed at the ANA Money Museum's "Treasures of the Deep" exhibit (2014-15).Recovered from: Auguste, sunk in 1761 off Nova Scotia, Canada.
