<B>Lily Langtry Autograph Letter Signed.</B></I> Three pages, 4.5" x 7", personal embossed letterhead, London, no date, to Merivale. In part: "<I>Thank you so much for your very kind letter. I shall indeed remember & appreciate all you tell me...</B></I>" Lily Langtry, often nicknamed "The Jersey Lily," was a high-profile and beautiful woman: an actress, a mistress to Edward VII, a winemaker, a theatre owner, and even a hawker of consumer goods (she was one of the first celebrities to endorse commercial products). This letter is in fine condition with one original fold and very minor mounting traces front and back that do not detract. A 5" x 7" B&W unsigned photo is included.
