<B>Likely Unique Newark, New Jersey, A. Henshaw Counterstamp.</B></I> (1837) Brunk B-560, HT-B218. A. Henshaw counterstamp on a 1789 Mexican two reales coin. This counterstamp was the <I>Rulau plate coin.</B></I> Henshaw was a Hard Times-era (1830-1836) gunsmith and engraver. The token also has the counterstamp of O. (Orra) Bennett, a Lyons, New York, gunsmith and more than likely a friend of Henshaw.
