<B>Lewis Carroll: <I>The Hunting of the Snark</B></I></B></I> <I>An Agony in Eight Fits</B></I> (London: Macmillan and Co., 1876), first edition, original publisher's decorative cloth with black spine titles, 12mo (5" x 7.25"). Nine illustrations by Henry Holiday. Black endpapers. All edges gilt. A nonsense poem about a group of adventurers hunting the legendary snark. Good condition, with soiled and bumped boards, split cloth along the spine folds, and loose but holding inner hinges. The spine appears to have been rebacked at some point.
