American boxer (1916–1981) who became lightweight champion in 1940. Vintage pearl-finish 8 x 10 full-length photo of Jenkins as champion, signed and inscribed in red fountain pen “To my pal Wesley Ramey from Lew Jenkins.” A couple small creases, and scattered light surface marks, otherwise fine condition. The photo’s recipient, Wesley Ramey was a fellow boxer, ranked among the Top Ten Lightweights In The World from 1931-1939.
