De La Moselle?, by Levasseur depicts the department of eastern France that was named after the Moselle River which includes the cities: Mets, Brieve, Sarrequemines, and Thionville. There is beautiful outline coloring coupled with the exacting cartography that Levasseur is known for. His work represents some of the last great decorative atlases of the 19th century.
