The group includes a one page letter, 8” x 10”, Paris, July 16, 1800, from William Vans Murray in his capacity as ambassador to the Netherlands, to Sylvanus Bourne, American Consul General in Amsterdam, tone and with the usual fold creases, else very good; a two page letter, 5.5” x 7.75”, Boston, June 24, 1789, from Theophilus Parsons, a Boston lawyer to Col. Josiah Little, toned with some old tape repairs on the verso, tears in the folds, the usual fold creases, else good; and a one page letter, 8” x 10”, August 8, 1798, from Theodore Sedgwick, Senator from Massachusetts and fifth Speaker of the House of Representatives, tipped to a larger backing sheet, toned with a few splits and holes, with the usual fold creases, else near very good condition. <I>Ex.
