Lot of 3. Three letters to Hon. Joseph Story. One from his brother regarding the transfer of an insurance policy. Another of a person arriving in Washington on personal matter and the last one from a friend seeking either advice or referral in a legal matter. There is a biography of Joesph Story. He was the first-born of eleven children of Dr. Elisha Story who was a member of the Sons of Liberty and took part in the Boston Tea Party. Joseph was an attorney, Representative, was chosen Speaker 1811 and in the same year was the youngest Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
