Two TLSs, one page, 8.5 x 5.5, personal letterhead, October, 1965, addressed to Mrs. George Wald, both regarding her husband’s transcription of Reubke’s Sonata for Organ. In part: “Thank you for sending me the score of your husband's symphonic transcription of Reubke’s Ninety-Fourth Psalm. I see it has solo parts for organ. We give our concerts in Carnegie Hall, and the organ there is only fairly good at present. Later, if the organ becomes worthy of such music as Reubke, we would like to consider a performance, particularly if we can find the right player for the organ part, which is not easy.” Letters are affixed to their original mailing envelopes, which are affixed to opposite sides of a larger 11 x 8 sheet. In fine condition, with a vertical fold passing through each signature.
