Father and son artists. Leonard is notable for making one of just two life masks of Abraham Lincoln. Two bank checks: one filled out and signed by Leonard Volk, dated June 16, 1894; and one filled out and signed by Douglas Volk, “S. Douglas Volk,” dated April 21, 1922. Two vertical folds to Leonard’s check, a central vertical fold to Douglas’s, and expected stamps and cancellation holes to both, otherwise fine condition.
