<B>Leon Trotsky Document Signed</B></I> "<I>L. Trotsky</B></I>" (in Cyrillic). One page (last page of an eight page document), 8.75" x 14.5", np, nd. Trotsky's signature appears on this final page of an eight-page document; the other seven pages are not present. His signature is in blue pencil and is dark and bold. Trotsky was a Russian Communist leader who had many dealings in the beginnings of the Communist power that would become the Soviet Union. He was the founder and commander of the Red Army. A political struggle with Stalin would lead to Trotsky being expelled from the party. He was eventually banished from Russia by Stalin, whereupon he moved to Mexico. He was later killed by an assassin, whom many people believe to have been sent by Stalin himself. Trotsky has never enjoyed a full rehabilitation like many of the other "Old Bolsheviks" in the Glasnost era, but nevertheless his Marxist teachings and philosophies are still studied and regarded as quite influential by academics. The document is in very fine condition; light overall toning; two holes on the left edge from being housed in a binder; usual folds present. <BR><BR><B>Important notice:
