Very large oil on canvas of an Art Deco Stylized Reclining Nude Woman. Several areas of condition issue as shown. Patched holes and overpainting present as pictured in areas. Painting is in need of conservationand a proper frame. Exhibition tag on the reverse. 34" by 46". Leo August Henkora 1893-1954 Oregon. In his early career, he was a student of prominentMinnesota painter Cameron Booth. Various news clippings from the Minneapolis Tribune and the Minneapolis Journal indicate Henkora had a summer professorship at the University of Missouri in 1927, that he exhibited hiswoodcuts in Philadelphia and at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1929.
