Brilliant but controversial German filmmaker (1902–2003) whose ties with and glorification of the Nazi regime would dog her legacy for the remainder of her life. Her best-known films include Triumph of the Will (1934), a propaganda film documenting the 1934 Party rally in Munich, and Olympia, a striking documentary on the 1936 Olympic Games. Vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photo of Riefenstahl with her eyes cast downward, signed in fountain pen along the bottom white border. In fine condition, with scratches across the top of her head and an area of discoloration along the right edge and top right corner.
