Legends of the Fall (1994) - Tristan Ludlow (Brad Pitt) Hero Military Canteen.
Comes with a COA co-signed by esteemed propmaster Jimmy H. Chow who was the film's property master.
This is Brad Pitt's hero screen used military canteen used to transport his brothers (Henry Thomas) heart back to his father Anthony Hopkins (Colonel William Ludlow) for burial. Heart was packed into the canteen by Brad Pitt then brought home by Aidan Quinn. Inside contains a ball of fabric spray painted red by the prop master, fabric never seen on screen but to give the actors a sense of the heart being inside, they used a real pigs heart for the day of filming.
Screen used and real antique military canteen used by "Tristan Ludlow", played by Brad Pitt in the production of the Edward Zwick directed Western drama film 'Legends of the Fall' (1994), about three brothers and their father living in the wilderness and plains of Montana in the early 20th century and how their lives are affected by nature, history, war, and love.
Starring Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Aidan Quinn, Julia Ormond and Henry Thomas.
The film was nominated for three Academy Awards and won for Best Cinematography (John Toll).
