Lithuanian-born American theatre owner/operator and producer (1871–1953) who was the eldest of seven siblings of the theatrical Shubert family. DS, three pages, 8 x 10.5, August 1, 1906. Waiver of a "notice of meeting and unanimous consent to amend Article VII of the certificate of incorporation of the Shubert Theatrical Company," outlining a change in the wording of the article. Signed at the conclusion by Lee Shubert, Jacob J. Shubert, Max C. Anderson, Joseph L. Rhinock, and George B. Cox. The third page is a notarized certificate attesting to the execution of the document. In very good to fine condition, with creasing, filing holes, and general handling wear.
