Ramp blade front and ladder rear sights and equipped with a valley sight. The unmarked receiver has a magazine cut off. The bolt, bolt handle, trigger guard, barrel bands, and right side of stock socket are Pakistani proofed. Valley sight and ladder sight have graduations marked in Farsi. Smooth stock with short handguard, grooved forearm, two barrel bands, sling swivels, and trapdoor buttplate. Complete with a cleaning rod. In addition to this rifle is an article written by John Walter which states that these guns were the only survivors of a consignment of 25 guns given by India to the Prime Minister's bodyguard in 1904. Consignor states this is a Nepalese Pattern Lee-Metford Rifle.

Condition: Very good. The rifle retains 50% faded original blue finish thinning to a plum patina mixed with a smooth gray patina. The wood is fine with a hairline crack on the handguard and a minor crack near the buttplate tang, along with some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically fine.
