Hand-addressed Russian airmail envelope, 6.25 x 4.5, addressed in Oswald’s hand to his mother, “Mrs. M. Oswald,” in Vernon, Texas, with the return address written at the bottom, in Russian. Front of envelope bears a Russian postmark, with the reverse of envelope bearing a June 6, Vernon, Texas, with the year reading 196_.” Envelope is protectively and permanently soft-laminated. In fine condition, with a uniform shade of toning, and scattered light creasing and wrinkling.
