Air mail envelope, 6.25 x 4.5, addressed in Oswald’s hand to his mother: “U.S.A., Vernon Texas, 1808 Eagle St. Apt. 3, Mrs. M. Oswald,” and adding his Moscow return address in Russian, including his name, at the bottom left. Envelope bears a Russian postmark on the front, and an October 30, 1961, Vernon, Texas postmark. The envelope bears the soft lamination. In very good condition, with aforementioned lamination, missing top right corner, a central vertical crease, a mild shade of uniform toning, and light creasing.
