British Marconigram detailing Lee Harvey Oswald's condition after being shot, one page, 8.25 x 5.75, [November 24, 1963]. In full: "Lee Harvey Oswald in surgery at Parkland Hospital Dallas. 15 pints of plasma & blood rushed to operating theatre. Oswalds condition critical. Shot in side the bullet did not exit. Bullet fired by Jack Ruby, owner of a striptease club in downtown Dallas. Ruby, known to newsmen, was amongst newsmen in basement of city gaol with group of newsmen, watching transfer of Oswald to County gaol. Ruby in a grey coat & hat, crouched down as Oswald passed, straightened & fired once. Oswald fell, and Ruby subdued after fierce struggle. Expected that Oswald will be in surgery several hours." In very good condition, with intersecting folds, edge tears, and loss to the upper left corner.
