Lee-Enfield Jungle Carbine No. 5, Mk. 1, cal. .303 British, Serial #CC 3129. The carbine is in overall good condition with a 21” military blacked barrel. The carbine retains a large amount of its military black finish, with significant losses along the barrel. The wood stocks show considerable dings, dents and compressions consistent with service use. The stocks also show multiple cartouches, including the corresponding serial number on the fore end. The bore is goodand may clean, the action tight and markings legible on this fine, old carbine. The carbine retains a military style sling, metal butt plate and bayonet lug. A section of plastic has been added to the butt plate in attempt to reducerecoil. (C+R/PPT). Est.: $250-$500.
