Amazing self-titled debut album by Led Zeppelin, signed boldly on the front cover in blue ballpoint by Jimmy Page, and on the back cover in blue ballpoint by Robert Plant, John Bonham, and John Paul Jones. In fine condition, with a few ultra light creases. The record is included. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and a letter of provenance from the original recipient, who notes that the autographs were obtained backstage at the Liverpool Stadium on November 29, 1971. The recipient's letter, in part: "After the concert ended the band left the stage followed by the bouncer. The bouncer then came back across the stage over to us and said Led Zeppelin had invited us backstage to meet…I remember Robert Plant seemed to take a fancy to me (I was 17 years old at the time) and we 'snogged' and he chatted for a while. He said he'd like to take me home—I didn't know if he was serious or not but I had a boyfriend…so I just laughed it off. However he signed my LP cover and kindly passed it to the rest of the band." This remarkable album is perhaps the most pristine fully signed example we've ever offered, and made rarer still by the generational attitude, a period in which autograph-seeking had grown passe within musical and counterculture fandom. A true piece of rock history signed by all four original band members while the band were on tour promoting their newest material, the landmark Led Zeppelin IV album. A sensational display piece ready for framing.
