Lebadang Hoi (1922-present) Limited Edition Print 120/120, visual measures 23'' x 17.5'', green and gold gilt frame that echoes the subtle greens in the picture, matted and under glass, depicts Asian fisherman, numbered in lower left corner and hand signed in lower right corner by artist, Artist Bio: ''Born in Vietnam, Lebadang emigrated to France in 1939 to attend the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. Even though he is now over 90 years old, he continues trying new techniques and making new prints. His wife Myshu comments 'Life is a sinking ship and work is a lifeboat.' His lithographs often feature horses or Viet Nam barques painted in glowing reds and greens or blues. He believes nature is inseparable from man and that man finds sustenance and spiritual nourishment in every source. The term 'Lebadangraphy' was created to describe his method of achieving harmony with a minimum of colors, using the same silk screens several times.''
