An outstanding sale, featuring Virgil Brand’s coin journals in addition to the Craige library and Stocker collection of Mehl memorabilia (Mehliana?). The regular hardcover edition and the leatherbound edition can be a little tough to distinguish for those who have not seen both. The leatherbound edition is lighter in color than the leatherette version, with the former being more crimson and the latter maroon. Most of the leatherbound editions have the original subscriber’s name impressed in gilt on the front cover. Sale 14 in the Kolbe series.
