Featured in this lot are two, leather and cord net shooting / hunting bags from the early to mid 20th century. These bags were used in hunting expeditions or shooting days, holding various items such as shotgun shells and more. The first and larger bag shows a leather construction with stitched designs on the front flap and a full leather shoulder strap for easy carrying. When the front flap is opened, it reveals the cord net bag used for holding spent shells or other various items. Behind the cord net is an open leather pouch while the final pouch shows ten slots for holding shells and a small pocket deeper in the pouch for holding slim things such as papers or permits. The second bag shows light tooled leather designs on the front flap and features a full leather shoulder strap for easy carrying. When opened it reveals the woven net bag for throwing spent shells or other items in it. Behind that is a canvas lined pouch with two smaller canvas lined pouches within it. The final pouch is full leather. Tassels of cord hand off of the woven net bag. Overall, both hunting bags show good condition with wear present from their age and use over the years, but no signs of major damage is noted. Both in usable condition. The larger bag measures 11 1/4" L x 14 3/4" W x 1 1/2" D, while the smaller bag measures 10 1/8" L x 14" W x 2" D. They have a collective weight of 5 pounds and 7 ounces.
