Leather Bank Account Ledger from the 1850s. Used by one B. Ingraham to reconcile his account with the Bank of Columbus, Georgia from 1859 to 1863, this leather account ledger is an interesting historical artifact that should interest collectors of notes from this locale. The leather cover is in decent shape, although there is one small split present. Interestingly, this account book records transactions that involved huge sums of money for the late 1850s, although we suppose that the value of the same transactions had significantly depreciated in real terms by 1863.
