ALS, one page, 9.5 x 8.5, August 27, 1984. Letter to a priest. In part: “Being an altar boy at St. Vincent’s church as a kid helped keep me off the streets in St. Paul, Minnisota. We had quite a church basement boxing program in those depression days. It hastened my decision not to be a fighter but an artist.” In the lower left corner, Neiman has added a small self-portrait caricature of himself smoking a cigar. In fine condition. Great content, made even more desirable with its original art work.
