The lock plate is signed in script, "Le Moyne" which consignor notes indicate him as being from Cumberland county (Pennsylvania?) Rocky Mountain blade front and notch rear sights, with a drum style nipple mount and light engraving on the lock plate and hammer. A faint maker's mark is also present on the lock plate, which is equipped with a double-set trigger. Smooth full length stock with a brass forearm tip, two silver semi-circles on either side of the forearm, silver teardrop panels on the wrist, raised cheekpiece followed by a silver star, brass buttplate and a brass patch box with cut-through decoration.

Condition: Fair. A crack is present in the lock plate, with scattered pitting and a mixed brown and gray patina. The stock is good, with a few mended chips and cracks. Mechanically good.
