A La Haye, chez Gérard Block, 1734. 4 parties en 2 tomes reliés en 3 vol. in-f° : [6]-394, 40, [2]-212, [2]-134, 14 pp. (incomplet de 9 pl. d'épitaphes : pp. 41, 60, 68 et 208 du tome II, 2e partie). Rel. de l'époque : plein veau granité, dos fleuronnés dorés à nerfs (étiq. de cuir rouge et vert foncé renouvelées), tr. jaspées (coins, coiffes et mors à restauration +/- apparente). Seconde édition de la traduction en français, parue en 1729 chez Van Lom.Cette importante chorographie ecclésiastique du Brabant, d'intérêt iconographique et généalogique, est divisée en 4 parties traitant de l'archévêché de Malines, du Brabant Wallon, des évêchés d'Anvers et de Bois-le-Duc. Son iconographie, gravée par Harrewyn, Blokhuyzen e.a., comporte plus de 250 planches hors-texte sur feuilles simples, doubles ou dépliantes : 2 cartes géographiques, des vues d'églises, couvents ou abbayes, des épitaphes, dalles ou autres monuments funéraires, vitraux ou autels, des planches d'armoiries et 26 portraits en médaillon. Complet de la table onomastique "des inscriptions et épitaphes".Cette compilation anonyme est basée sur les ouvrages de Corn. Van Gestel (Historia sacra et profana archiepiscopatus Mechliniense, 1725), Fr. Sweertius (Monumenta sepulchralia [...] ducatus Brabantiae, 1613), Christyn (Basilica bruxellensis [...], 1677), J. Le Roy (Notitia marchionatus Antverpiensis, 1678) et d'autres. After full payment, buyers are kindly requested to take away their purchases immediately after the auction or at the bookshop the next Tuesday after the auction 230 av. Louise, from 2 pm until 6 pm.
Goods will be send only after customers’ payment.
Packing and dispatching are entirely at the buyer’s own expense.
Books whose price exceed 3.000 BEF will be send by registered post.

Payment will be made in Belgian Francs. We do not accept credit cards neither cheques whose total amount exceed 7.000 BEF or cheques not validated for higher sum.
Terms of sale require buyers to pay immediately for their purchases, which means that lots will be released to them only when full and cleared payment as been received by us
In addition to the hammer price, the buyer has to pay a buyer’s premium of 21%, V.A.T. inclusive, all strictly in cash and in Belgian francs (BEF).
In case of original art and if the principles of the author’s rights are applicable, an extra 4% must be paid on each hammer price of at least 50.000 BEF.
All items are assumed to be in good condition unless otherwise stated. Buyers are kindly invited to carry out their own inspection of the lots they want to buy. All items to be auctioned are on view for several days prior to the sale.
Returning an item after the striking of the hammer will not be accepted, whatever the reason put forward. Those items bought on order must be inspected within 8 days after receipt. Any return after this term will be refused.
All items of the catalogue with the mention « n.c. » (non collationné = not inspected) are not subject to return. Neither are those sold in lots (two items or more) works consisting in multiple volumes and periodicals or series.
If you cannot attend the auction, we can execute written bids on your behalf. To ensure a satisfactory service, it is necessary to make arrangements for the services at least one day before the sale.
On every purchase Belgian law only is applicable, and all cases of dispute are exclusively to the competence of the Brussels Chamber.
