Pastel on paper, attributed to Paul Emile Pissarro, approx. 20x14 in. Paul-Emile was born on 22 August 1884 in Eragny, the fifth and youngest son of Camille Pissarro. Brought up in an artistic household, inevitably he began drawing at an early age. A white horse drawn when he was just five years old received much praise from the writer Octave Mirbeau. Camille was so impressed that he kept it as part of his private collection.

Absentee and online bids are accepted. All major credit cards are accepted. Bank wires and cashier’s checks are accepted. For credit card payments, buyer is required to sign Payment Authorization Form that will be provided via email. Merchandise will not be released until payment is cleared, and Authorization form has been completed and returned. All sales exceeding $5000 must be paid by bank wire. Payment is expected within 1-2 business days concluding auction. Any item that has not been paid for is forfeited by the buyer and the item may be put back on the auction block for sale. Any buyer that does not make payment will automatically be blocked from future Auction House auctions and will be filed with a collection agency and the credit bureau.
