The doctor's letter, in part (translated): "One of the four soldiers who signed the petition...in favor of Drouet seemed to me an extreme terrorist, an out-and-out madman...I believe the others are sincere Republicans and guilty only of having allowed themselves to be duped, seduced." In overall very good condition, with scattered toning, soiling, and foxing, and a few small tears.
