Actor (1870–1952) known for his supporting roles in The Mask of Fu Manchu, Werewolf of London, and Son of Frankenstein. DS, one page, 8.5 x 17, January 8, 1929. A Standard Form Artist’s Contract with Goldwyn Studios, in which Grant agrees “to render service as such in the character of Lakington, in the motion picture the working title of which is now ‘Bulldog Drummond,’ at a salary of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per week.” Affixed to the front are two riders, both initialed by Grant. In very good condition, with multiple paperclip impressions, a couple small tears to the left edge, a uniform shade of toning, and two punch holes to the top. Bulldog Drummond would go on to be nominated for two Academy Awards.
