1928 Mickey depicts his appearence in "Steamboat Willie", the landmark sound cartoon released that same year. An orchestra complete with cow bells, whistles, whoops and snorts changed the way cartoons were made. Eight different Mickey Mouse figures, each depicting a special time in Mickey's evolution, celebrate sixty happy years. Over the years, Mickey Mouse has played many starring roles in his "movie-mouse adventures," comic strips and books. His appearance evolved gradually, the influence of various artists and deliberate design changes making subtle alterations. Mickey began life as a rodent-like character with big teeth, a large nose and a long tail. The "thirties" Mickey refers to the period when our friend had wedge pie-shaped eyes, a potbelly and a long mouse-like tail. In later years Mickey lost weight and "whites" were added to his eyes. In spite of these outward changes, Mickey's personality has remained steadfast, brave and true. Mickey Mouse is an icon of pop culture, a symbol of happiness and fun that is known throughout the world. TOTAL PIECES MADE: 820<BR>Free Shipping in the continental US
