<B>Laurel and Hardy Signed Contracts, 1929.</B></I> A pair of agreements signed by Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, releasing them from their Hal Roach studio contracts for the duration of November 21, 1929 to November 28, 1929. The two were engaged for appearance at the Fox Theatre in San Francisco that week. Two weeks later marked the end of an era as the film <I>Angora Love</B></I> was released -- the last silent film Laurel and Hardy made together. Both 8.5" x 11" documents are in Very Fine condition with typical mailing creases, and raised Hal Roach Studios letterhead text.
