Late World War II U.S. Military Inland M1A1 Paratrooper Style Semi-Automatic Carbine

Manufactured circa January 1945. The front sight is stamped with a "N", the barrel is stamped "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/11-44", type 1 barrel band, 4 rivet handguard, angled face slide, round bolt, type 1 rear sight stamped "S", push button safety, modified magazine catch stamped "E.I." and a low wood pistol grip stock stamped "S A" on the bottom of the pistol grip and with an ordnance cartouche on the right side of the pistol grip. The buttplate has the correct casting marks. With a green web sling.

Fine as restored. The barrel, barrel band and bolt retain 90% plus of the blue finish with cycling wear and some scattered minor scratches. The front sight, receiver, slide and trigger guard retain 95% plus of an almost black parkerized finish with some high edge wear and some scattered minor scratches. There is some minor oxidation on the front sight. The wire stock has been welded back together just behind the swiveling section. The cheek rest has been replaced with a modern replacement. Mechanically excellent.
