Late War Mauser SVW/MB Code 98K Bolt Action Rifle with Sling and Bayonet
This is a very late war rifle produced at the Mauser factory, as a Kreigsmodell. The top of the chamber is marked with a "eagle/135" proof over "Mod. 98" over a faint "SVWMB", the left side is marked with a Nazi firing proof followed by the serial number and the right side is marked with an "eagle/135" proof mark. The left rear of the barrel is marked with a Nazi firing proof, the right rear with a unrecognizable marking and there is a "eagle/135" proof directly behind the hand guard. The parts are all late war stamped parts and the barrel bands are have the holes for screws, however none have been added. The bolt handle is numbered to the gun, and no other parts are numbered. All phosphate finish with blue barrel bands and floor plate. Hooded front sight and rear tangent sight graduated to 2,000 meters and mounted with a one piece laminated stock, absent of any markings, with a cupped buttplate with the firing pin takedown hole.
