The receiver markings are "eagle/214" Waffenamt proof, serial number, "K.43 qve 45" (the wartime code for Berlin-Lubecker). The rifle is equipped with a ZF4 scope with leather lens caps, rubber eyepiece, and marked "Gw ZF4 / 31510 / ddx. [triangle]". The scope mount is marked with an eagle/359 proof and the number "5651" in electric pencil, with the locking lever correctly marked "fest" and "lose". Raised ramp front sight and military tangent rear sight graduated from 100-1200 meters. Laminated pistol grip stock numbered to gun with contrasting walnut upper hand guard, cupped buttplate, and leather sling. Right side of buttstock has two faint eagle/214 proofs. The magazine is marked "aye" and "K43" with an eagle/WaA843 proof.

Stock: laminated
Gauge: 8 mm
Finish: blue
Grips:
Serial Number: 7925l
Condition: Very good as modified. The chamber area of the receiver, under the tangent sight, has been polished on both sides, thus removing the blue and leaving the metal in the white. The rifle retains 70% original blue finish on the remainder with the balance a smooth brown patina. The forearm has been repaired, otherwise good with some minor handling marks. The re-oiled stock is very good with some minor handling marks. The scope optics are slightly hazy. The mount has been refinished. Mechanically excellent.
