Late Production Colt Bisley Single Action Army Revolver
Produced in 1909, this is an exceptional example of a Colt Bisley Model Single Action. Fixed sights, with the top of the barrel roll-stamped "COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG.Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." and the left "(BISLEY MODEL) 45 COLT". Colt three-date in two-lines patent markings and encircled Rampant Colt trademark on the left side of the frame, with a "&" stamp inside the hammer well, "959" on the loading gate, and "VP in triangle" and "W" stamps on the guard. All visible serial numbers match. Checkered hard rubber grips, with Rampant Colt logos and matching partial numbers on the inside.

Condition: Very good, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing a smooth brown patina on the barrel, a mixed brown and gray on the ejector housing and grip straps and gray streaks on the cylinder. The frame and hammer retain more than 95% of the original casehardened finish with vivid case colors. The trigger and screws have 95% plus of the niter blue finish. Grips are excellent. Mechanically crisp.
