open scroll back inlaid in mother of pearl, rocker in laminated and solid maple. Satin and rosewood with applied molding, seat upholstered in light sage velour. Remains in fine condition with letter from consignor who purchased rocker from thefamily in mid 1970's. Much history has been written about Seth Bullock including his election as Sheriff in Deadwood in 1877, long term friendship with Teddy Roosevelt, and his role in developing the town of Belle Fourche. A beautifulpiece of Deadwood personality history that would display nicely in any collection.
