The lot features an engraved bone comb headdress dating to the late-19th century to early-20th century from the Yao people of Southern China. This Southern Chinese comb exhibits eighteen bone pieces which are etched / engraved on both sides with an intricate circle within circle design, tied together on a wooden frame with a red ball attached to the top and trailing tassels with white and black glass beads with red fringes on a diamond shaped etched bone pendant. The measurements of this comb is 5 3/4" x 4 5/8" x 2 5/8".
