The lot features a set of late 19th-century early 20th-century beaded Indian hide dolls from the Northern Plains and ex-Hindman auction. The set shows Indian tanned hide with trade thread sewing showing early glass trade seed beads as well as some natural dyes. The dolls shows horse tail hair at the top and seed beaded facial features, beadwork along the chest, fringes bottom dress as well as an Indian papoose baby carrier made of Indian tanned hide with wood backing and solid brass trade tacks. The set was purchased from Hindman. Largest doll is 9.5-inches by 7.5-inches and the other is 8-inches by 6-inches.
