<B>Early 1960s Terry Sawchuk Signed J.D. McCarthy Postcard.</B></I> The over 600 stitches to the face are a testament to the vigor that Terry Sawchuk employed when he minded the net for professional hockey teams in Detroit, Boston and Toronto. Nicknamed "Uke" because of his Ukranian heritage, Sawchuk tattooed his impression on the game everywhere that he went, nowhere more evident than in the trio of Rookie of the Year awards that he won in each of three leagues -- the first person to accomplish that feat. From the J.D. McCarthy postcard issue released in the early-1960s we present this quality Sawchuk exemplar, signed in 9/10 blue ink by the Hall of Famer. Card measures 3.5 x 5.5". Fine memento courtesy of a hard-nosed goaltender who retired with more wins than anyone else. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
