<B>Late 1940's Jackie Robinson "SIngle Signed" Baseball.</B></I> With the National League presidency of Ford Frick ending in the middle of the 1951 season, we can definitively date this special sphere to the earliest days of Robinson's Major League career. His marvelous 9+/10 blue ink signature appears on the side panel of this vintage orb, and was once joined by several other autographs which have since been removed without a trace by a professional restorationist.
