Late 18th century oak longcase clock, the projecting cornice above a square glazed door flanked by columns, above a rectangular trunk door and a panelled box base, the associated 12.5 inch brass dial with a centre engraved with an eagle and baskets of flowers, bearing maker's name 'Joseph Quarman, Temple Cloud', above a fretted aperture with revolving date subsidiary dial engraved with flowers, within a silvered chapter ring with Roman hour and Arabic minute numerals, the single train bird cage movement with anchor escapement, turned brass pillars, with passing strike on a bell, 200cm high
