Offered for your bidding pleasure is this Late 1800's Large Acme Peanut Roaster. This excellent collector's item shows a two part construction. The roaster is placed atop the stand where the fire would be lit for the roasting process to begin. Inside the roaster we see several of it's original trays used in the roasting process. This roaster was likely used by a street vender or used at carnivals. This wonderful piece was Manufactured by the Atsatt Brothers in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts and patented April 2nd, 1895. The front of this piece reads "Hot Peanuts The Acme Peanut Roaster". The sides both read "Fresh Roasted". This roaster shows a galvanized tin construction and shows excellent condition. Measures 43 1/2" tall by 17 1/2" wide by 17 1/2" deep.
