R&B and rock singer/songwriter (1935–1980) whose hits included 'Bony Moronie,' 'Slow Down,' 'Dizzy, Miss Lizzy,' 'Bad Boy,' and 'She Said Yeah,' many of which were covered by the Beatles and other British bands. DS, one page, 8.5 x 14, April 16, 1978. Agreement between Williams and Mandala International, in which he waives "any and all royalties for the sale of phonograph records and/or pre-recorded tapes derived from the master recording(s) as follows: 'Short Fat Fannie,' $650.00 net, to artist upon completion of vocal session." In fine condition, with torn staple holes to the upper left corner. First released in 1957, 'Short Fat Fannie' was Williams's second single; peaking at number five on the US pop chart, and at number one on the R&B chart, it sold over one million records.
