Large vellum Rookwood vase Shirayamadani
Measures approximately 12" high by approximately 8 to 9" in diameter at the widest point. In very good condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. I am almost one hundred percent positive that this was made as a lamp at the factory. If you look at my close-up of the hole in the bottom you will notice it is glazed around the rim of the hole. It is a gorgeous piece. Very impressive in size. A rare find. It has the signature of the famous Rookwood artist Kataro Shirayamadani.
