Large old jawbone with carving of an Indian face, approx. 15” overall with a row of large teeth still in place; consignor states this piece was purchased in the 1980s in Colorado and was described at that time as aceremonial buffalo jaw made during the later part of the 1800s and was wrapped in newspaper dated in the mid-1930s when purchased.
