This is a vintage 1966 postcard featuring artwork by Manuel Robbe titled L'Eclatante (The Striking). Sandy Val Graphics Ltd. SIZE: Approx. 6" x 8". Art Nouveau and Turn-of-the-Century Posters in miniature by Sandy Val, New York. Manuel Robbe (1872-1936) was an important French painter and printmaker of the Belle Epoque era. He is known for his wonderful color aquatints of this period--many published by Edmond Sagot.
**MORE postcards from 1950s to 1990s (risque, nude, art sci-fi, oddities) in this and future auctions. From the estate of a big collector who traveled the world and had some very scarce paper items. Many postcards from small independent underground printers in Germany, Holland, France, UK, etc.

Excellent condition except for slight darkening along a couple of the edges (with some darkening of edges on the reverse). There's some unevenness along the right edge. Never used.

A 20% restocking fee also applies to merchandise rejected by the buyer due to reasons other than misrepresentation by All Things Estate Auctions. All sales are final. No lots are sold on approval. Placing a bid is a legally binding obligation. There are no returns or exchanges. By signing up to bid and by bidding, bidder agrees not to violate the payment provisions of these terms and conditions.
