<B>1920 Large Theodore Roosevelt Copper Plaque.<BR></B></I> 10 x 13 in. Designed by James Earl Fraser, designer of the Buffalo nickel. Roosevelt faces right with a three-line inscription: AGGRESSIVE FIGHTING FOR THE RIGHT IS THE NOBLEST SPORT THE WORLD AFFORDS. This is from one of his speeches while he was the New York police commissioner (1895-1897). The larger of the two types manufactured, and the most common of the pieces known.
